ACNI funding information nights
The Arts Council have today launched their Musical Instruments for Bands funding scheme. Grants available up to a maximum of £5000 per band.
The application process closes on Thursday 25th April at 4pm. Application forms and guidance notes are available from the ACNI website

City of Culture chosen for major Twelfth parade
A major Twelfth of July demonstration will be held in Londonderry this year to coincide with the UK City of Culture celebrations.
On Monday, the Orange Order released a list of venues across Northern Ireland for the annual parades.

An Apprentice Boys of Derry parade in Enniskillen on Easter Monday could well see 15,000 people arriving in the town.
The parade is being organised by the South West Ulster Amalgamated Committee and The Parades Commission website reveals that 60 bands with 4,500 participants are expected with 10,000 supporters.

THIS year sees the 25th anniversary of Randalstown Sons of Ulster Flute Band and a number of events will be held throughout the year to celebrate this.
It gave the group great pleasure on St Patrick’s weekend to present the band with the flag of patron Saint Patrick which was carried in the town for the first time on Saturday, March 16.
